It would be nice to see more levels and worlds come out It’s About Time through post-launch support, but let’s worry about the full game first instead of getting too caught up on that. It does, at least, mean you should be fine to see it through to the end without being asked to whip out your credit card.

This let you unlock things more quickly, and proves that just because there won’t be additional opportunities to pay real life money at launch doesn’t mean that they’re off the table. It’s worth noting that, while there might be no microtransactions at the outset, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled did end up adding them after the fact by letting you pay real money for in-game currency to buy into the game’s economy. As a bonus, the Totally Tubular skins are included in all digital versions of the game.
